KATELYN MCCUTCHEON WINS ELEVENTH-ANNUAL GAGE SCHOLARSHIP
FERNDALE, Mich. -- Katelyn McCutcheon, a 2006 graduate of Ferndale High School, is the recipient of Gage Products Company's eleventh-annual community scholarship award.
The $1,000 Gage scholarship is awarded annually to an outstanding Ferndale High School graduate. The company established its scholarship program in 1996.
McCutcheon maintained a 4.0 average throughout her freshman, sophomore and junior years of high school and was a member of the National Honor Society. She was the starting pitcher for the FHS softball team as well as a member of the marching band, wind ensemble, jazz band and the pit orchestra.
McCutcheon also has been actively involved in activities with her community and church. The daughter of Kevin and Janet McCutcheon, Katelyn begins classes this fall at Michigan State University in East Lansing.
